11 Facts About Me

  1. I’m 17 years old!
  2. I’m currently living in Pakistan, but I’ve also lived in the USA and Saudi Arabia
  3. I’ve got three younger (kinda irritating hehe) siblings😌
  4. I have attended a total of 8 different schools!
  5. I have the world’s biggest sweet tooth! Seriously though, it’s a problem at this point!
  6. A bit odd, but I don’t like watching TV series and much rather prefer movies!
  7. Speaking of movies, I only find movies based on true stories to be intriguing. I know I’M PICKY!😓
  8. Not about me per se, but my mom is a twin
  9. I’ve travelled to a grand total of 14 countries! 😱
  10. I’ve been blogging for less than a year
  11. Despite living in Pakistan, I can’t read or write Urdu, but I can speak A TINY BIT and understand conversational Urdu! 😜

What is your favorite food? There. is. not. a. single. food. i. won’t. eat.

What country are you from? Born and raised in the US, but I’m from Pakistan. Make sense? I never know what to say for this.

What kind of music do you like? I’ve said this in my last award post, but I don’t listen to music! ☺️

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I wish I stayed more committed to something, like, cough cough, blogging regularly. I’m working on it! 😳

Biggest regret in life? Deep. I wouldn’t say I have regrets, because it would consume my mind all day and make me feel guilty. It’s not a regret, but I wish I was old enough to remember my grandfather before he passed.

Are you an introvert or extrovert? Extrovert for sure! I’m always needing to go out and socialize.

What’s your passion? Where do I start?? I love baking, cooking, reading, writing, blogging, studying, exercising, walking, eating, sleeping, volunteering, helping others, bothering others, joking around and SO MUCH MORE! 🤷‍♀️

Why do you follow my blog? I follow Mohamed’s blog because he’s been a great friend and his Bruce Lee posts are intriguing. Racheal’s posts have such a great sense of humor and I enjoy her writing style! It sometimes reminds me of mine lol.

If you were a drink ( alcoholic or non-alcoholic) what would you be? Ooh this is creative! I really only ever drink water, but I guess I’d a highly caffeinated energy drink, because I’m super wild and I put myself out there!

Do you believe in the after-life? Yes.

Do you believe in karma? Not necessarily karma, but I believe in “reaping what one sows” and that everyone will be judged accordingly by God.

    Wowie, eight schools!! That’s crazy and, hear I thought going to six different schools was a record. I’m impressed, how are you able to adjust?

      Eight schools indeed! Six is a lot too! High five, I don’t meet people who have changed schools as much as I have! 🙌 Adjusting is hard, girl! It’s the biggest downside to moving a ton. I’ve lost touch with so so soooo many of my childhood friends. I always knew we wouldn’t stay put for too long, so the key to adjusting was to just not get too comfortable. What about you??

      1. Wow, yeah that must be very hard!! Adjusting into a new environment is always hard especially when the people there have known each other for years. Is the system of learning also different at each school?
        I don’t have a good excuse for going to many different schools because I’ve only moved once! I’ve switched schools for some dumb reasons (like the commute being too long and getting accepted into a “better”/more challenging school) and some not so dumb reasons (like bullying at my elementary school). This year was my first year in my new school and I’m a junior in HS! How about you, what grade are you in?

        😉 It’s great chatting with someone who understands the struggle

      2. Ahh I see! Sucks that there was bullying in your elementary school! ☹️ And the commute being long isn’t a dumb reason at all! My younger siblings went to schools far from home, and it was a logistical nightmare picking them up!
        The learning system was different for sure! Up until middle school, I was living in the States so I was doing the american system. We moved around a ton because my parents got bored of the same place after every two years 😂😂
        I was all ready for the SATs and AP classes for high school, but we decided to move to the Middle East. So I switched to the learning system that was used there. Turns out that system wasn’t for me, so I just ended up homeschooling!
        I only lived in the Middle East for a year before we moved to Pakistan. Here, they follow the British system 😓😓 You with me so far? Haha, it’s been a journey getting through school!
        I actually just graduated high school! I’m applying to medical universities these days! 💁‍♀️👀

      3. Yikes, I applaud your ability to be able to transition into different schooling. It must have been hard knowing the whole “American learning system” and then moving shortly after;) How did you like the British system? (lol, I’m sorry for all my questions). I only know the learning system hear in the U.S. but, I hear from my friends that it can be quite difficult in Europe and other places in the world. Hehe, it’s funny that you kept moving because your parents got bored 😉 I assumed that from all your moves you might have been from a military family.
        Oooh, congrats on graduation !! Did you have a prom or formal? I know everybody always looks forward to that. Also, I wish you look for your search for medical universities!

        The British system is defiantly interesting! They dont care about performance year round, and just want to see results in the final exams. Which was pretty great for me because I slacked all year, and then two months before the exams I’d crash course EVERYTHING. 😛
        Military family? Nope! But I get that a lot hehe. My parents are both doctors. (it’s not fun lols)
        AWW thank you!! No prom/formal/graduation/farewell for me unfortunately 😦 This whole coronavirus situation has cancelled all my plans. oh well!!
        I think it’s because of the website linked with your Gravatar account. I had the same problem too! I changed the name of my site but people were still going to the old one. Your Gravatar account must not be linked with your new site! :)) Lemme know if it works!

        AHHH, the British system sounds right up my alley!!!!! Haha, I would do exactly what you did. Cramming for life 😉 That’s probably a very big downside of the American system because you have to perform well throughout the year and also do well on the exams at the end of the year. Oh, I’m sorry that your dance was canceled! This whole situation has also been ruining my plans but, what can we do. I’m doing online schooling now which somewhat gives me an activity to do in my day.

    1. This is exactly how I feel! I become too attached to the characters and if the ending isn’t what I expected it to be, I fall into a downward spiral! Not to mention, it’s so time consuming!! 😱

    1. A fellow volunteer yayyy!! 😱 🎉
      Unfortunately where I live (Pakistan), poverty is a real big issue! There’s kids out of school and working on the street and beggars galore. I usually volunteer by visiting the underprivileged schools or gathering donations to make sure kids are in school as opposed to working as child laborers.
      In fact, I wrote about one of my volunteering missions (if you want to check it out of course!!)

        I actually volunteer as a librarian on Saturdays (except now it is closed due to corona, so I’ve got weekends off), which isn’t as interesting, but the people are really entertaining 🙃
